JSC "Zapchast" is the largest manufacturing complex for the production of various products from iron-and-steel scrap that began operations in 1938. The factory is located in Kazakhstan in the eastern area of Taraz city and covers 20 ha.

From the day of its foundation, the plant was producing spare parts for agricultural machinery, tractors, and consumer goods as well as spare parts for military equipment. Currently, the plant has been producing products for the mining and concentrating industry, railway transport, heat power complex and telecommunications industry, etc.

The core production of JSC "Zapchast" is a steelmaking shop with capacity of 12 000 tons of castings per year, equipped with four electric arc furnaces EAF-3, a casting conveyor and two thermal furnaces.

The machining and stamping workshop is equipped with presses of up to 500 and 1000 tons. The multiple-purpose workshop does forging, milling, drilling and turning works and also makes pattern and stamps. The welding workshop manufactures grilles, fences, gates and many other things.

Our production allows us producing patterns for casting and making all kinds of your cast parts within the shortest possible time.

Also there are several service facilities: repair and engineering and electrical repair stations, a main laboratory, a transport and storage zone, a transforming station, compressor stations at the plant.

Unit of store rooms of the plant is connected to the station "Buryl" by the railway branch. The rail tracks are laid inside workshops and equipped with loading and unloading platforms.

Every year, our plant is aiming to improve equipments and production technology, introduce new standards. Quality control department monitors implementation of activities and coordinates activities for improvement the quality of work.

There is an annual amendment of all documentation in accordance with the standards of GOST, OST, PCT and specifications on the plant. Regularly are carried out metrological evaluation and examination of compliance with regulatory documents. There are also organized two monitoring & checkout stations for improving the quality of inspections.
